New BvL silage block cutter V-LOAD Cutter Megastar HD

Silage block cutters are among the flagship products offered by Bernard van Lengerich Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG (BvL) in Emsbüren. This tradition is continuously kept alive with new developments and optimization of the products of the V-LOAD silage block cutter series. The latest addition to the series is the Megastar HD (heavy duty) cutter – as a variant of the previous block cutter models. What makes this silage block cutter unique:

• the compact size of the silage cut due to the short cutting bar (a feature of Megastar block cutters) – for increased access to fresh silage; 
• improved stability due to the massive, reinforced frame (a feature of Master block cutters);
• the extra sturdy prong mount for the shorter, robust fork prongs.

This combination of features makes the machine ideal for front mounting and use with high silage blocks (e.g., when mounted on a telescopic handler). The compact block size also eliminates the danger of silage block overload. Speaking of heights: For those who prefer a block cutter with a mast, the V-LOAD Megastar HD cutter also has this capability, thus allowing removal of silage at a height of up to 3.50 m. Another new feature makes the machine even more user-friendly: All BvL silage block cutters of the Megastar, Master and Megastar HD series now have two extra lubrication points on the back of the front cutter – for convenient and consistent lubrication between the main frame and the cutter blade mount.
